Instructions
  1. In a pot, bring salted water to a boil. Clean the broccoli by removing the green leaves and cutting off the base to separate the florets. Take the woody stalk, peel it, and cut it into thick pieces.
  2. Rinse the broccoli under cold water, then add it to the boiling water. Cook it uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes, checking for doneness with a knife inserted into the thickest piece.
  3. While the broccoli cooks, prepare the garlic sauce. In a small skillet, heat olive oil and gently sauté the sliced garlic until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and stir in a pinch of smoked paprika.
  4. Once the broccoli is cooked, drain it and transfer it to a serving dish. Pour the garlic sauce over the hot broccoli, gently tossing to coat.
  5. Serve immediately as a delicious and healthy side dish!
