Instructions
  1. Prepare the vegetables by peeling the potatoes and carrots. Cut them into rough cubes.
  2. Cook the potatoes and carrots in salted boiling water for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Once the vegetables have cooked through, strain out the water and add them back into the pot.
  4. Add in a good drizzle of milk, butter, nutmeg, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Mash these ingredients together until the desired mashed potato and carrot consistency has been achieved.
